Integrity - Keep Your Word and Honor Your Promises

It’s not always easy to do the right thing, especially if no one’s watching. But it’s always worth it. Trust hangs in the balance. You can destroy relationships quickly when you show a lack of integrity, so it’s critical that what you say is consistent with what you do. Applying these insights will strengthen your relationships and your self-respect.

What are you doing each day to ensure that you continue to build trust in all your relationships?
“As I grow older I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do.” - Andrew Carnegie

“Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got.” - Janis Joplin

“You cannot make yourself feel something you do not feel, but you can make yourself do right in spite of your feelings.” - Pearl Buck

  7. Thank you Meredith for sharing this post. I will definitely share this; you know this is just such an important foundation of human value ... and it is amazing that some people just simply has no sense of it at all... allowing their pride to drown their conscience.

  9. I'm just thinking of those who talk about the great integrity and transparency of their own character and how it makes their business have integrity, but do not live the non-business equivalent of that at home. I have a hard time having respect for someone in business that doesn't treat their own family well.
